At Stem, we are doing everything we can to protect our community and our staff. Our first priority will always be providing you with exceptional service, while maintaining health and safety practices. We understand that during this time it may cause some discomfort and inconvenience, but please keep in mind that these changes are only temporary. Unfortunately, that means some services will not be available until it is safe to do so. It also means that there are a lot of moving parts to consider while we navigate the situation. Those who have traveled to the following locations need to quarantine for 14 days after arrival in Kansas. This applies to both Kansas residents and those visiting Kansas:
- Cruise ship or river cruise passengers
- International travel

– Please call Stem or text your service provider upon arrival.
We ask that guests wait in their car until their service provider is ready.
– Service provider will greet you at the check in station
⁃ We ask that everyone wears a mask at all times while inside the salon.
If you don’t have one we will provided. No mask – No service
⁃ All guests will be asked to sign a waiver upon entry.
– Hand sanitizer will be provided.
⁃We will not be providing drinks at this time. If you need a drink during your appointment, we ask that you bring your own in a container with a lid.
⁃We will be maintaining physical distancing practices while inside the salon. In order to maintain occupancy limits, we ask that you do not bring anyone with you to your appointment.

⁃ All service providers will wear a mask in order to keep both our guests and themselves safe.
⁃We have also installed a Synexis microbial reduction air filtration system. This will provide an even cleaner and safer environment for us all. https://synexis.com
Due to the current circumstances, we will be implementing a $1.50 health service fee that will provide both staff and guests with the materials needed to keep us all safe. This is in addition to the current service charge of $1.50 which supports our salon recycling program, totaling a charge of $3.00. Once those added precautions are no longer necessary, we will reduce the fee back to the previous rate of $1.50.
We understand that these adjustments will affect the dynamic of your salon experience. We are just as concerned as you are about how things will look and feel during our “new normal”. We are doing everything we can to keep our salon a safe place so we do not have to endure this again in the future. Every day has provided us with new challenges and we are doing our very best to handle the situation with the information we have been given. We are so lucky to have you all as our guests and appreciate every bit of love and support you have shown to us!
